I feel like I am on a roll with cooking again. I have been in the kitchen brainstorming, creating, testing and snapchatting behind the scenes of new content. I even got motivated to start shooting some basic videos which I did for this crockpot buffalo chicken recipe. I even made a separate video with the best time saving cooking hack I know to date. Please share the video after you watch!

Best Kitchen Cooking Hack ever – What a time Saver

Before you ask. I also use the same method for shredding pulled pork and turkey. I haven’t tried any other meats but as long as they don’t have bones you should be pretty safe. This method is fast, clean and easy. No more burnt fingers or spending 20 minutes shredding meat with two forks.

Serves: 8
  1. Combine butter, hot sauce, coconut aminos and granulated garlic in a bowl and mix well (This recipe works great with just the butter and hot sauce as well)
  2. Line the bottom of your crockpot with chicken breasts
  3. Pour hot sauce mixture over chicken ensuring everything is covered
  4. Place lid on crockpot, set on high and cook for 4 hours
  5. Once done cooking, shred chicken in the crockpot using a handmixer (video above) or by hand
  6. Serve as is or turn into sliders using Udi's gluten-free buns and our brand new coleslaw recipe

  6. I’m new to paleo (like, as of TODAY, lol). I’m reading you’re not supposed to have dairy, but this recipe has butter. I’d love to just go ahead an use butter, but can I use olive oil or melted coconut oil instead? I see above you can omit the butter completely, but I think that’d make for some dry chicken breasts. Please let me know, and feel free to mention why butter is OK.

    1. Yes, we use grass-fed butter. We recommend removing all dairy to allow inflammation to heal and after 30 days adding it back in from the right sources. We only eat/drink raw dairy or grass-fed and grass-finished dairy.

      This will work with bacon fat and hot sauce, duck fat, coconut oil, etc.
