Herb Crusted Ribeye with Grilled Honey Pineapple

An absolutely amazing steak rub on any grilled steak you can make paired with an almost dessert like side dish.  This rub can be used on any cut of steak and these pineapples can be served with anything your heart desires I just hope you all enjoy and don’t forget to let me know how it turned out for you.  Enjoy

Herb Crusted Ribeye
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 2 tbsp dried basil
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp crushed fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
Honey Pineapple
  • fresh pineapple, peeled and sliced ½ inch thick
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  1. Preheat your grill on high
  2. Combine all the ingredients listed above under the steak ingredients except the steak in a bowl and mix well
  3. Ensure your steak has sat at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to level out the temperature and then liberally apply your dry rub to each side of your steak, set aside
  4. Mix all the ingredients under the pineapple ingredients except the pineapple and mix well
  5. Using a brush, liberally apply your marinade to both sides of your sliced pineapple
  6. Go place your steaks and your pineapples on your grill, cook your steak approximately 4-5 minutes per side or until done to your preference
  7. Grill your pineapples for 4-5 minutes per side or until you get nice grill marks and the pineapple has softened a bit
  8. Remove from the grill, plate and enjoy
