Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Crockpot Buffalo Chicken sliders
I feel like I am on a roll with cooking again. I have been in the kitchen brainstorming, creating, testing and snapchatting behind the scenes of new content. I even got motivated to start shooting some basic videos which I did for this crockpot buffalo chicken recipe. I even made a separate video with the best time saving cooking hack I know to date. Please share the video after you watch!

Best Kitchen Cooking Hack ever – What a time Saver

Before you ask. I also use the same method for shredding pulled pork and turkey. I haven’t tried any other meats but as long as they don’t have bones you should be pretty safe. This method is fast, clean and easy. No more burnt fingers or spending 20 minutes shredding meat with two forks.

Both videos are pretty cool right? I think I want to keep creating both types of video and I need your feedback. Do you like how they are only about 1 minute in length? Leave me a comment below with your thoughts after you share the video.

This may not be a surprise to you but crockpot recipes are my absolute favorite. They are easy to cook, easy to clean and make lots of scrumptious leftovers. I love crockpots so much I actually dedicated an entire page of my website to them for you with an awesome infographic. See the Ultimate Guide to Slow Cookers here.

I can’t wait to see all your pictures of this recipe. Make sure you send me videos and pictures on Snapchat (username: cookingcaveman) so I can respond and answer any questions you have.

  1. Combine butter, hot sauce, coconut aminos and granulated garlic in a bowl and mix well (This recipe works great with just the butter and hot sauce as well)
  2. Line the bottom of your crockpot with chicken breasts
  3. Pour hot sauce mixture over chicken ensuring everything is covered
  4. Place lid on crockpot, set on high and cook for 4 hours
  5. Once done cooking, shred chicken in the crockpot using a handmixer (video above) or by hand
  6. Serve as is or turn into sliders using Udi's gluten-free buns and our brand new coleslaw recipe

  1. Made this last night for a party and it was a huge hit! So easy and simple to put together. Thank you for a great recipe!

  2. I’m new to paleo (like, as of TODAY, lol). I’m reading you’re not supposed to have dairy, but this recipe has butter. I’d love to just go ahead an use butter, but can I use olive oil or melted coconut oil instead? I see above you can omit the butter completely, but I think that’d make for some dry chicken breasts. Please let me know, and feel free to mention why butter is OK.

    1. Yes, we use grass-fed butter. We recommend removing all dairy to allow inflammation to heal and after 30 days adding it back in from the right sources. We only eat/drink raw dairy or grass-fed and grass-finished dairy.

This will work with bacon fat and hot sauce, duck fat, coconut oil, etc.

  3. Hi George! About to finally make your buffalo chicken. Don’t have a crockpot. What oven settings would you recommend if I slow cook in a Dutch oven? Thank you!

  4. I tried this recipe. It was delicious. My whole family likes it. We are having it again tonight. Simple to make, simple to clean up, and delicious as leftovers. A+

I like the short video and the hand mixer trick. Worked like charm.

  5. Love the short videos, love the tip, love the recipe and the fact I can print it out. I am still searching for a hot sauce I like. Any recommendations? Great job George. Thanks.

  6. So before I clicked to watch the video, I checked to see how long it was. Since it was short 4 minutes or less, I chose to watch. Short and sweet!! Great job! Love it. Will try Buffalo Ckn recipe soon.

  7. This looks great and I love the chicken shredding hack. I don’t actually own a handheld mixer so I guess I’ll see if the KitchenAid stand mixer will work instead. Thanks George.

  8. Shared both video’s. I’ll need to do a dairy-free version for now and try using Earth Balance Organic Buttery Spread, but can’t wait to try it. Love the hack! Thanks for sharing George!

  9. Cracks me up that I never thought of this hack before. Maybe because most of the meatI use has bones. No matter…Can’t wait to share with my mom! Thank you. Your recipes are my favorite.
