Crock Pot Hot Wings

I had a request on the page last week for some Paleo hot wings which in itself isn’t that difficult of a task but given my overly busy lifestyle of course I had to do it in a crock pot.  You can always do these in a baking dish in an oven at 350 until done if you so choose, just use about half the water.  Well here is the simplest of recipes I could come up with, you can spice up however you like.  I added some cayenne to mine to kick up the spice, hope you Enjoy :)

  1. A man after my own heart…Frank’s Original Red Hot sauce! Oh my! My husband has been finicky with chicken legs, so challenge accepted. Let’s do this. ;)

  2. Tried this recipe last week after purchasing your cookbook on the App Store. Delicious recipe and the meat was coming off the bone it was so tender.

For me the wings weren’t spicy enough. Next time I’ll add a couple of diced jalapeños into the mix to kick it up a notch.

I paired it with the cilantro lime slaw also in the book. Great stuff!

  3. My first ever attempt at making hot wings, and these are by far the best hot wings I’ve ever eaten. Thank you so much! Damn, wish I’d made a double batch!

  4. Had these wings tonight – fantastic! So smile, so delicious. Better than any pub wings I’ve had. Well done!

      1. I don’t use it nearly enough, but I have to justify spending $400 somehow. I’ve been making chicken wings with Franks Red hot for a while, although I don’t add water. I’ll try it out and see what’ it’s like.

  5. Just wanted to let you know that I made these this morning (with Sriracha), and they were fabulous! Paired with some crisp celery, they really hit the spot.

  6. By far my favorite recipe of yours that I've tried (second is your bbq sauce)! Amaaaazing. Keep it up, we can't get enough! ~Lindsay & Shane

  7. My daughter just asked me to make buffalo wings. Used this recipe but put them in the pressure cooker for 10 minutes then under the broiler. Fall off the bone amazing!!
