Cranberry Orange Scones

So here is a delicious cranberry orange scone recipe from one of those creative baking days I had.  To all my Kettlebell fans, figured you would appreciate this one.  It is a shout out to my amazing gym Cutting Edge Kettlebells.   Not only does this look awesome but it tastes awesome too.  Feel free to get creative and make some more designs, see what you can come up with.  Enjoy

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine your almond flour, sea salt, baking soda, cranberries, and shredded coconut
  3. In a smaller mixing bowl, mix the egg and the honey until well blended
  4. Add your wet ingredients to the dry and mix well
  5. Knead the dough with your hands if necessary to ensure an even distribution of ingredients
  6. Add in the orange zest and continue to knead to mix well
  7. Form dough into two circles approximately 1/2 inch thick to look like mini pizzas, they should be about 6 inches across. Or you can make fun designs like I did, get creative and share

  9. Transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet
  10. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through

  1. I really love that I begin to have most ingredients for those amazing recipes in my kitchen cabinets:) I definitely didn’t have almond flour or shredded coconut when I was just like any other junk-food-junkie:) Those are definitely in my to-do list when I get the time!:)

  2. Can't wait to try this with my daughter tomorrow, so creative. Maybe I will stick to hearts and stars though, lol. Thanks for the wonderful ideas!!
