Pumpkin Pie Espresso Hazelnut Butter

This was such an amazing recipe and so simple.  If you notice in the picture there are 3 different varieties here and they were all delicious.  The one I am posting is my favorite but the others were bomb.com too.  I had the amazing pleasure of being able to co-create these recipes with Bill and Hayley from the Paleo Power Couple The Food Lover’s Primal Palate.  Thank you to Hayley and Bill for being such amazing, gracious hosts and most of all amazing friends and allowing me to come stay in your home.  I am only going to be posting this one recipe and you can find the other two flavors on their site located HERE.  They are a remake of Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter and a Chipolte Cayenne Hazelnut Butter.  Yummy.

Oh if you guys could only see me now, you would laugh your butt off.  I started typing this an hour ago and when I uploaded the picture, I took a break to walk to the kitchen and eat some of this, then I proceeded to put some in my coffee and then I was in heaven.  End of story this stuff is GGGGRREEEEEAAAAATTTTT!!!!!  I might as well use a Tony the Tiger slogan to reference something other than a diabetic coma waiting in a box.  You know thats a good idea, cause I am a genius (I think, haha) we should recapture some of those amazing popular slogans we had as kids and reconnect them with amazing Paleo Food.  I would totally run around screaming Where’s the Beef if it wasn’t tied to Wendy’s but instead US Wellness Meats.  Or wear a TShirt that says M’m, m’m, m’m, m’m, m’m toasty when referring to Bacon instead of Quiznos.  You know that totally sounded like an awesome idea in my head, but then once I typed it I realized its probably not all that realistic but I am going to leave it anyways.  Maybe someone will make it happen.

And there is one more very important thing I need to cover before the recipe.  The new Ebook from The Food Lover’s Primal-Palate which you can find by clicking on that huge picture right above this.  This ebook is amazing, from a content stand point as well and layout.  It honestly intimidates me to keep working on my ebook with how amazing this thing is layed out.  Tons of recipes, meal plans, shopping lists and the document itself has over 1000 internal links to make it the easiest thing to navigate I have ever played with in a PDF.  And on top of their amazing ebook, they also have a brand new FREE App on the iPhone and Android being released sometime at the end of this week.  You can create shopping lists, view recipes, etc all on your phone and it syncs with their website so you never miss a beat.  Honestly, Bill and Hayley have created the ultimate Paleo Website of the decade with all the amazing features they have given you.  So whatever your favorite cup of tea is, please head over and support them one way or another.  Visit their site HERE, follow them on Facebook HERE, on Twitter HERE, on Pinterest HERE, on Youtube HERE, Join their site HERE, become a Supporting Member HERE, buy the Ebook HERE, join their mailing list HERE, and either way go tell them how awesome they are and that the Civilized Caveman sent you.

  1. Nirvana. Pumpkin and hazelnut are two of my favorite foods. Can’t eat nuts right now, so I’m gonna try to get these flavors into a coconut butter. Thanks for the great idea and recipe!
