Instructions
  1. Place your dates and almonds in a food processor or really strong blender.
  2. Pulse until your dates and almonds are in small chunks and transfer to a mixing bowl
  3. Add in all remaining ingredients and using your hands, mix well to ensure an even coating of everything
  4. Once mixed, using parchment paper, flatten out your mixture to the size of bars your want or you can use individual ziploc bags and form them inside the bag
  5. Place in refrigerator and let cool, then enjoy
  6. I keep mine refrigerated or frozen until I want to eat them, good luck having them last more than a day :)

  1. What is the tasty looking drink next to it (in the picture)?

  2. Do you mean whole cloves or ground cloves? By the way I just made your banana cake and it was fantastic and so easy. It is now my go to paleo banana bread! Thank you

  3. The coconut oil made ours a little bit greasy. I rolled them in unsweetened cocoa powder and they tasted like chocolate truffles. We tried another batch without the coconut oil and added cayenne powder instead of the cinnamon/nutmeg/clove and that was also a huge hit.

    • That sounds amazing, so glad you got them to work and people loved them :) I never realize the coconut oil being too much as I keep mine refrigerated and also depending on the size of the dates etc the moisture changes.

  4. These are great but they aren’t holding together properly. Tips?

Yum! I’ve never added sea salt to mine, but I’m thinking that is a must do for my next batch.

    Thanks for linking up today!

  11. I just used the small container and blade and did they all together. They were medjool dates

Which paddle/blade did you use with the Ninja? What type of dates did you use? I had a hard time chopping the almonds up and the dates were sticky, but they still turned out amazing and I even put too much nutmeg in. Thanks, awesome recipe!!

  13. You are most welcome, I hope you enjoy

  14. Awesome! I'll try these this week, and re-post the link on my FB page and site… =) Thank you, as always!
