Tomato Basil Crockpot Chicken

This was a 9 o’clock at night, need to figure out what I am going to eat for dinner tomorrow night but won’t have time to make, luckily I left my crock pot on my counter and that was the end of it, nice and easy.  Throw chicken in a crock pot with some nice Paleo sauce from Fresh and Easy or Trader Joes with some veggies and call it a day. Prepped in 10 minutes of Monday night, put in crock pot Tuesday morning at 0500 in 5 minutes and should be delicious and waiting when I get home. Enjoy

***UPDATE*** Eating it as we speak and it is delicious, great meal for 10 minutes

  1. Tastes great but created a whole lotta sauce. Next time I’ll try it without the can of diced tomatoes and just stick with the marinara. Thanks!

  2. I made this for dinner last week…AMAZING!!!!! Fresh basil is a must and your house smells great and after a long day at work – this hit the spot! Thank you so very much for sharing this recipe!

  3. Do you have an approximate weight of the amount of chicken used? Even organic chicken breasts vary hugely in size which can turn crock pot recipes either soupy or too dry. Heading out to Wegman’s now to grab some more almond meal to make your lemon poppy seed muffins.

  4. This was delicious! I didn’t add any salt or pepper and the kids only needed a pinch once it was served. Didn’t have spaghetti squash, so we ate it over sweet potatoes! GREAT dish, will definitely make regularly! Thanks for the great recipe George!

  5. I’ve made a lot of your recipes and this one just may be my #1! Please keep the crock pot recipes coming, I rely on them a lot! Thank you so much for sharing

  6. I just made this tonight and it’s delish!! I love savory cooking and recently I purchased my first crockpot and have been soaking up any and all (Paleo) crockpot recipes I can get my hands on, so thank you so much! It was every bit as easy as you said!

  7. I have yet to try one of your recipes where it wasn’t just yummy! Thanks for another good one, and it was so nice and easy to prep.
