  2. Kristin W. says:

Made this last night as I was out of ketchup and knew my husband and daughter would want some for their meal. It was a hit and my son who HATES ketchup absolutely loved it

Hola! I read from your site a lot. I do my own sauces and I’m confused as to what the diffrence between a tomato sauce and a tomato paste is? Hope you can help with this. Saludos!!!

  4. This was delish! I added in some stevia for some sweetness and cayenne to spice mine up. :)

Homemade sauces are usually not that good but this one is a welcome addition in my kitchen

  6. Gwendolyn says:

this is on the stove as we speak….my tomato sauce/paste was super acidic so I juiced an apple and threw it in and also added some onion powder. Freaking amazing. Will be using it to make the raspberry bbq sauce later today!

OMG. Made this over the weekend to put on top of a paleo meatloaf. (Had to add non-paleo brown sugar for my husband.) But, the catsup by itself was AMAZING! Is it wrong that I just ate a few spoonfuls by itself?

  10. Thank you Jill

  11. never had to describe it before…..here goes!!

um, it's a thick sauce of pureed tomatoes (probably with other things). it's not as thick as tomato paste. like a heavy gravy?? (am I right or wrong Americans??)

    and it's not really catsup…

type "tomato sauce can" in google images and you'll see what it looks like.

hunt's and Heinz are 2 famous brands I can think of. Of course they make catsup, but they make other tomato products, too..like sauce, diced, stewed tomatoes, etc..

  12. BabyMumma says:

sorry to ask a stupid question, but what is tomato sauce? that is our name for catsup in Aus, so i'm unsure what im looking for….is it just liquid tomatoes?

  13. You are most welcome

  14. Jen Perry says:

    delicious, thanks!
